A.C.E. Cross-Cultural Training
A.C.E. Training and Development Institute has offered customized training for U.S. executives relocating overseas, or for international professionals relocating in the United States. In addition, cross-cultural training has been offered for U.S. professionals working with non-English speaking individuals. Cross-cultural training has been offered on-site in companies and schools.
Business
- one-day training program for Chinese nationals working for Microsoft Corporation of Seattle, Washington (USA).
- cross-cultural business seminars for US WEST New Vector employees responsible for business development in Japan and the Russian Republic (USA).
- two-day cross-cultural training program introducing US WEST New Vector employees to issues specific to conducting business with Japanese clients and providing cultural awareness training (USA).
- program training Bank of America employees to work effectively with clients lacking English proficiency (USA).
- cultural diversity training for a Seattle-based retail firm.
Student Programs
- three-year contract in cooperation with Meridian International Center to provide intercultural orientation for AID scholarship participants studying and working in the U.S.
- two-day orientation program for 45 Japan Exchange and Teaching Program (JET) participants preparing for work in Japanese public schools and government offices (USA).
- one-week orientation program for Fulbright Scholars leaving for teaching posts in Korea (USA).
- cultural awareness training for teachers from Shoreline School District (USA)
