Welcome to the A.C.E. Skagit Valley Junior Institute

Dates: August 10 - 24, 2001

The A.C.E. SKAGIT VALLEY JUNIOR INSTITUTE is a fun and educational two-week program for young students from 10 to 17 years of age. Students have an unforgettable summer as they improve their English, stay in a local home, sightsee, shop, and make friends with American children and other Junior Institute students from around the world.

PROGRAM
Students study English in morning classes with experienced and friendly teachers. In the afternoon, students participate in fun and educational activities, such as horseback riding, beach visits, kayaking, picnics, a visit to Seattle, amusement parks, and more. Students will also have an opportunity to meet and interact with local American children. Students experience American life and use English every day in conversations with their hosts.

HOST FAMILIES
Our carefully selected host families provide safe, comfortable homes, and three meals a day. Two Junior Institute students stay with each family and usually share a room. Students enjoy host family activities, interests, and hobbies, while making new friends. Wonderful families are waiting to welcome students into their hearts and homes.
