TOEIC Testing at A.C.E. SPU

The A.C.E. Language Institute at Seattle Pacific University is the FIRST to offer the new internet-based TOEIC® Speaking and Writing Tests in the greater Seattle Area through its affiliation with ETS. A.C.E. Language Institute also offers the institutional, TOEIC Listening and Reading Test.

What is the TOEIC?
TOEIC is the acronym for Test of English for International Communication. TOEIC tests have been the global standard for assessing English proficiency in the international workplace since 1979. TOEIC test scores have helped more than 6,000 corporations, educational institutions, and governments throughout the world recruit, hire, and promote the most qualified candidates.

There are three tests in the TOEIC portfolio. A.C.E. Language Institute at Seattle Pacific University is the first to offer the new TOEIC® Speaking and Writing Tests in the greater Seattle Area.

TOEIC® Speaking and Writing Tests – 1 ½ Hours   NEW

• Designed for beginning through advanced proficiency
• Scored by human raters in a rigorous process that ensures validity of results
• Detailed level descriptors – eight speaking and nine writing levels
• Internet-based proctored delivery: Test takers speak into a microphone connected to a computer for speaking, and use the computer keyboard to write their answers for writing.
